Throughout history, our love of reading has fostered great civilizations and cultures.
With the advent of books, we learned how to record knowledge and convey it to others. What a wonderful place the world has become thanks to this media.

We have now obtained the methods of conveying our thoughts through Information Technology, an invention of as significant as the Gutenberg printing press 500 years ago.

Digital technologies have made possible to make books with sounds and motion pictures. Telecommunication technologies have enabled us to read books anytime and anyplace. We are in an era in which we can to realize the dream of having a quiet and fulfilling moment of reading.

We have explored the possibilities of eBOOKs in publishing companies and manufacturing companies. And now, we have taken a step forward to start an eBOOK business, to create and distribute the next generation of "eBOOKs", which provide enjoyment beyond that of existing books.

We will offer manga comics, photograph collections, novels, business books, and search for a new breed of eBOOK writers to create new types of content.

We will propose new methods of distribution and transactions by adopting original compression and encryption technologies, and transmit to information providers, eBOOK bookstores, digital broadcasters, and CATV operators.

In collaboration with terminal manufacturers, who would create the next generation PDA, we plan to offer an the next generation reading experience of the 21st century, such as developing comfortable reading devices. This is our vision of the "evolution of reading."
